cant play videos properly on my PC

hi guys, I am having a problem playing videos .MOV downloaded from my iphone 13 pro into my windows 10 computer. and also pictures are not recognized .HEIC format. any advise ? thanks

Will they import into iTunes and play there? I haven't tried importing videos from my iPhone 11 lately but they used to work. Again it may be a case of getting an updated codec.

Thanks for your reply, but I already have VLC. It doesn’t work properly with videos download from 13 pro .
