Contour watch face, Apple Watch series 7, watchOS 8.1

Has anyone experienced changes to they're apple watch series 7 Contour watch face recently? For example, with the starlight colour on full screen, my numbers have suddenly changed from white to a much darker colour..

No idea why, I haven’t changed any settings, and I can’t seem to get the white numbers back..

I’m just wondering if this has happened to anyone else or if I might be experiencing a bug?

(I’ve added a photo of what the watch face looks like now.. it’s Contour, starlight colour, with dial colour ON)

numbers are no longer white like they were yesterday..

any help appreciated!!

Why it changed I don't know. But the article shows you all the ways you can adjust the Contour Face, so go into edit mode on the Contour face and adjust it to however you'd like it to be.

To change any watch face, you can edit it either on your iPhone using the Apple Watch app. Or directly on the watch itself by pressing hard on the face, which will reduce the size of the face and open a box with Edit. Tap edit and adjust the face.

I am still waiting for my Watch 7 in Stainless, so I can't try to adjust a Contour face.

Hi, thank you for trying, but unfortunately this article doesn’t tell me why my watch face has completely changed overnight or how to change it back..

Im hoping that someone on here may be experiencing the same issue..

Yeah thank you, but I have tried all the editing you could think of, and there just doesn’t seem to be a way to get the white numbers back the way they were..

Unfortunately when in the Watch app, and adjusting the shades of the colours, this feature is only available for the original sort of colours.. (reds, yellows, blues etc.)

The option isn’t there to adjust the shade of the new colours like Starlight.

But thank you for trying, I’m sure your answers may help someone else in a similar situation, unfortunately not mine.
