WatchOS 10 Complications showing boxes

Since upgrading to WatchOS 10, there's a bug on my watch where the temperature, UV Index, and date complications stop showing properly when the watch is "at rest".

If I raise my wrist, the complications are updated and display properly. But when I lay my wrist down, when the screen dims, the values with these complications are replaced with boxes (see image). I've tried multiple power cycles and my watch and iPhone are running the latest software.

Watch: Series 8 (10.0.1)

Phone: iPhone 15 Pro (17.0.2)

There are some options you can set for the Always-On function. (from my memory) Settings > Display & Brightness > Always-On then you can control what happens in Wrist Down mode.

This doesn't really solve the issue, it just works around it. The base issue is that, when the watch is set to NOT show complication data, it shows a blank box rather than actually not showing anything (as it has in previous OS iterations). Cmon, Apple...

Thank you! No idea that was even an option, especially since I've had this watch with my previous phone and that setting was toggled on. All better now. 👍
