How good is CleanMyMac software

Never install any app that claims to "tune up", "speed up" or "clean up" your Mac. These apps exist for one reason: to separate the unwary and inexperienced user from their hard-earned money. At best they do very little, at worst, they can damage your OS installation and cause far more problems than they "solve".

no. no. no. no. clean my mac is terrible! please, never download it. any application that claims to "speed up" or "clean up" your mac is lying. the only files you should EVER delete are files YOU made, like pdfs, images, and other files you DO NOT NEED anymore. applications have no idea what you want gone and will ask for permission to delete/modify things and GO WILD. like to the point of reinstallation.

As other have mentioned - it is very good and altering, modify, reming, corrupting and attempting to delated key elements of the OS to the point of having to Reinstall possibly from scratch

Avoid at ALL Costs and image the money saved by not have the software

I hear it's improved, but you may want to see some past problems...

They should change the name to CleanMyWallet.
