How can I transfer photos from my iPad to my iMac?

They are connected with a cable.
I just bought and installed Power Shot app for $29.00
I don't see the pictures I just took with my iPad in my iMc library.

I don't know why the title was changed, but I just came back to say that there is nothing in Photo app.
