iPadOS 15 home layout on the iPad Mini 5

The home layout in the newest update is pretty cramped as you all noticed. I’m asking if this issue would be handled in the near future, and if not, how can I downgrade to the iPadOS14. I just can’t stand how awful the screen looks now.
