+32 dialling code

Hello.

I have come across a few posts about this issue but none seem to resolve my problem.

a few weeks ago, after the last iOS update I think, I noticed that a text message I sent to a usual contact changed from their name to +32 and then their number. The messages sometimes come back unsent and other times go through.

today I called a contact and an opticians in Belgium answered the phone!!!

I have done the dial assist thing and it makes no difference! I have noticed that the numbers in the contacts are arranged weirdly too, the used to be 01622 ****** but now are 01 622 ** ** **.

any help would be much appreciated. :)
