Stuck on Options screen

A power shortage happened while installing Monterey on my M1 iMac (2021)

Now I’m stuck on the Options screen after restarting.

Command-D on keyboard won’t work.

Holding Power button while restarting won’t work. Leave it be overnight won’t work. Unplugging everything for an hour then restarting it will only show the Options screen with carousel turning. Keyboard or mouse won’t connect.

What keyboard and mouse/track pad are you using?

If they are no longer paired with the iMac, then you need to plug them in using the supplied cable,

or you need to barrow, buy, use an aftermarket USB keyboard and mouse to move forward.

Then once you have a connected USB mouse you can select Option and continue,

or you can power down, startup and use the keyboard to enter the startup key commands.
