Difficulties with Image Gallery
Are there alternate ways to add images to image galleries? Such as drag from the finder or copy-paste from a document?

We don't penalize users for testing something on their own.
In Pages v11.2, when you select Image Gallery from the Media toolbar item, it says right on the Image Gallery panel, "Drag Images here." And as you drag and drop successive images onto the Image Gallery, they automatically add to it in the Pages sidebar.
You can copy/paste selected images from another Pages document source, or if you use Apple's Preview Markup toolbar to make a rectangular selection of an image in a PDF and then copy/paste that selection into the Image Gallery.
