My apple play is not working in my Subaru
If you plug it in and the phone does not charge either the cable is bad, there is dirt in the Lightning connector on the phone, or the fuse has blown in the USB power circuit.

Your suggestions did not work because the wires were brand new, the fuse was in tact and the iPhone was new as well. So I rebooted the apple play operating system on the car. Turns out there is an issue with your operating system. My solution worked. It would have been nice if you had suggested that.
It is not my operating system. I’m a user just like you in this user to user forum. Based on your reprehensible attitude I will not respond to you again, and I doubt any other users in this forum will either.
No. I was driving across country and the usb did not work. It did not charge or enable me to use my map. It worked the first 100 miles, but stopped after that. FYI, it’s a brand new Crosstrek.
