Scanner Driver for Brother dcp-l2540dw

I recently purchased a new Macbook Air which now operates on the MacOS Monterey system and was using an older desktop unit beforehand. Having just downloaded the updated scanner driver from Brother's website for this new Mac system, the Control Centre for the scanning device is not showing up anywhere on the Desktop or in the Launchpad......where is the driver now that it's downloaded???

View the Applications Folder:

The scanner likely has its own application. So, look for a new application, by going in to the Applications folder, and selecting "Date Modified". It should show up as the latest installed item.

As for managing it, go to: System Preferences > Printers & Scannners
