I keep getting messages on both my Mac and my iPhone 13 that my iCloud is near capacity and I should pay money for more storage. I don't want more storage!!!! What will happen if I just continue to ignore the messages?

Anything that is stored in iCloud will not longer be able to be stored there. Things like iCloud backups from iOS devices will fail, and any app that syncs its data will be unable to do so. If you use iCloud Drive for anything, you will no longer be able to sync your files if thereās no room. Photos may no longer be synced from iOS devices to your Mac if using iCloud Photos.
You donāt have to buy more storage if you donāt want to, but then you should attempt to clear some data off of iCloud to make room.
