Photos app (and imgur) crashes at random since 15.0.2 update on iPhone 11

Ever since upgrading to the latest iOS (15.0.2) on my iPhone 11 I have had issues with the photos app not loading. You press the icon and it flashes up then minimizes. Only on a hard reboot does it come back to life. This also seems to affect the Imgur app. It won't load, or simply crashes when trying to view content. Reinstalling the Imgur app sees to be a temp fix but seems to stop working very soon after. I have raised this with Imgur but wonder if the Photos crash is related?
