I am unable to delete live photos off my phone when I am transferring photos to my computer. How do I delete live photo files of photos I have already deleted. I am using version 13.7.

I am unable to delete live photos off my phone when I am transferring photos to my computer. How do I delete live photo files of photos I have already deleted. I have no problem deleting photo files but the live version will not delete. I have no room left for storage since these live files will not delete. I am using version 13.7. I thought I had read there was a problem with deleting live files but I cannot find the fix now.
