Combining two iCloud+ 200 GB accounts to get 400 GB Family Shared iCloud.

If my wife and I both have iCloud+ with 200GB and we both family share, would that give us a combined 400GB on the family share?

Right now my wife has 200 GB and I have the default 5 GB, She shared her 200 GB with me through the family sharing. I am currently using about 12 GB of iCloud, so I am using 7 GB of her 200 GB. She has informed me that she is now running out of iCloud space. If I upgrade from the default iCloud to iCloud+ with 200 GB would that up the combined family space to 400 GB? The other option would be to upgrade my wife's account to 2 TB at 12.99. Two 200 GB iCloud accounts combined would be cheaper at 7.98.
