The iPhone 6 Plus is not compatible with iOS 13 or higher.

Sorry, but that is not possible.
To update to iOS 13 or higher (including iOS 14 and 15) you need an iPhone 6S or newer.
You are right it is a 6S
I have another iphone 6 which has updated on its own up to 14.8.1
