Software Update

Hello, I have a macbook air (Mid 2013) but I can't update the software. Currently I have this version: 10.11.6 OS X El Capitan. I was hopping if you can help me woth this. Thank u!

That model of MacBook Air can update to MacOS 11 Big Sur and everything in between El Capitan and Big Sur.

Do note, it's likely most of your apps will not work on Big Sur. You will need to find updated versions or replacements for apps that may no longer work on newer versions of macOS.
