Stuck cursor.
My cursor is stuck in upper left-hand corner on my iMac. I've tried a USB connected mouse and it did not help.

Huh, well you may want to try a second USB mouse. If that does not work, please connect the USB mouse directly to a USB port on the iMac (do not use a USB hub) and try different USB ports. If none work, the next step is taking the computer to your local Apple Authorized Service Provider to be diagnosed.

What do you mean you tried, you either restarted in Safe Mode and the Recovery Partition or you did not. Please be specific.
BTW, do you have any third party antivirus, cleaning or ANY other third party maintenance apps installed.
i tried to resolve the issue by successfully restarting my iMac in both safe mode and recovery mode. in both cases my cursor is still stuck. No, i do not have any 3rd part antivirus or other maintenance apps installed.
Please restart the computer.
I have tried to restart in safe mode and recovery mode. neither of which has cured the problem.
I've now completed steps to reset NVRAM or PRAM and that did not resolve the issue either.
Ok. will do. thanks anyway for your help!
I am a little stumped, so please let us know what fixes the problem.
