Listen, Luis, don't get on here and condescend to me. I said I appreciate your answers, but the fact is that if I saw that drop down caret and went to the trouble of photoshopping that image for this post, I obviously clicked on it and saw Reset at the top of the the menu.
Complaining about the scissors is not childish. With them, making a cut is far less accurate. If I didn't find it so, I obviously wouldn't mention that. Whoever sees that, you ask? Obviously, if I'm mentioning it, I do.
The statement, "Anyone who uses FCP will do Command-B to Blade" is absurd. I obviously don't do that, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I do care about productivity. I make well into six figures as an editor. So keep arrogant comments like that one to yourself. Do you really think that because you do something a certain way, or even you and a group of people, that that way is the only reasonable way?
I did not say I can get ahold of someone at Apple about this. I said that the only time I've ever gotten anything done was one time when I was able to get to a senior enough tech to whom I could point out what was objectively an error in the software, and that they corrected.
This is a community to ask questions. If you don't the questions are relevant or you think the way I edit doesn't make sense, keep your condescending comments to yourself. I'm here to get an answer to the question I asked. I'm not here to hear your philosophy on video editing.
