Music with no sound

Since the Monterey upgrade I am having issues with double clicking on a song in a playlist. The song will always play, but sometimes there is no sound. If I click on the next song, same thing. Sometimes it plays with sound and sometimes no sound at all. The progress bar continues to move, just no sound. Never had a single issue until this upgrade. I am using Music on my iMac with two homepods, and an Airport Express. Eventually I can get a song to play with sound, but this is really irritating.

I have already done numerous restarts and same thing!
