My screen just went black, can feel the vibration but no screen

My screen on watch went black, can feel it vibrate but no screen. Have tried holding crown and stem still nothing.

Apple Watch Series 6, watchOS 8

Have you tried a forced reset by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side Button (together) for about 30 seconds? If not it is worth a try, and hope the Apple logo appears.


Try shifting to a different watch face, using the Watch app on your iPhone. In the app, check the Brightness setting in My Watch/Display & Brightness,


If you can feel the expected haptic reactions but there is no picture on screen after the checks above, it sounds like a hardware failure. Contact Apple Support to start arranging the repair.
