iPhone Xr yellow spot on screen

Hi,

Last year, in 11th month of warranty period I noticed yellow

spot on screen right behind battery indicator on screen (right notch)

I reported the issue to local authorised repair shop, and they

replaced the screen.

9th months after yellow spot appeared again on same place,

phoned again repair shop and they informed me that phone is out of warranty period.

It looks like screen yellow spot is a result of back side

camera overheating causing the screen adhesive turn to yellow.

My question is:

1)

Is the screen still in warranty period as it was

replaced 9 months ago – warranty on replaced part is extending the

warranty of that part for another 12 months?

2)

Obviously, the repair shop made a mistake by

replacing the screen (consequence) and not the cause (back side camera), is

this than applicable for warranty fix?

Regards,

Zeljko

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities.

As per the Apple Inc. Repair Terms & Conditions, Apple warrants for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of service. Unfortunately, this means your iPhone and repair are out-of-warranty.

To setup service with Apple, see: Get Support.
