Pictures didn’t back up

i lost my phone and when I got a new phone my pictures did not transfer over once I used I cloud back up. Help.

If you use iCloud photos, your pictures are at iCloud.com/photos. You can turn on iCloud photos in settings > photos if you hadn't turned it on already. Your photos will then download.

If you do not use iCloud photos, your pictures would be saved as part of your iCloud backup when you restore. See what iCloud backs up (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207428)
