Monterey/Photoshop Elements

How do you get Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor 2021 to work with Monterey? Adobe says it's not supported, but it works on my MacBook pro and not on my iMac?

Too late for a ‘workaround.’ The result of this mess has already cost me hundreds of dollars, more than as month of business and uncounted hours of time (still counting). I’ve had to reinstall my system and major software and am rebuilding all of my Elements files and settings from the ground up. Whether it was Adobe or Apple responsible for this I’m unlikely to accept any ‘updates’ any time soon. My trust in both companies (particularly Adobe) has taken a very serious hit going forward.

Try this:open a Finder window, select Go from the menu bar at the top of the screen, hold down the Option key to reveal the Library folder option in the dropdown menu, open the folder Preferences, drag the item "com.adobe.PhotoshopElements" in the trash folder and delete it.It must be done every time before you start Photoshop Elements 2021-2022 since they don't fix the bug.

Thanks for this information it’s really helped, guess I need to upgrade from Elements 2021 to 2022 - jeez software these days seems to last about as long as a prawn sandwich :-) Did have a look at full Photoshop via monthly CC subscription - didn’t have a clue what I was looking at in the interface - but think this is probably where we’re all going to be pushed in the future ☹️

Bottom line, this was a major oversight by both Apple and Adobe that has resulted in countless hours and dollars wasted by customers that have depended on the competence and integrity of both companies. For me, the result has meant months of having to rebuild and reorganize the data vital to my business, a task that will take weeks if not months to complete.

Unexcusable.

Adobe doesn't care about licensed Adobe Elements 21 users - they just want you to pay for Elements 22. Customer service just gives you a run around instead of resolutions

We should all reach out to Apple and let them know how Adobe is advocating for users to downgrade their OS and in my case told me to use a windows based computer

I'm using PE21. Do you know for sure that PS22 will solve the problem? I have understood that it did not. Again Apple has indicated it is Adobe's fault and Adobe gave me a run around also. I'm getting tired of the constant restart to use PS21 and would get (gritting my teeth) 22 it would solve the problem. Thanks for you response.
