Monterey/Photoshop Elements

How do you get Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor 2021 to work with Monterey? Adobe says it's not supported, but it works on my MacBook pro and not on my iMac?

Photoshop elements 2022 minimum requirements Adobe provides confusing requirements for Photoshop Elements 2022. For M1 Macs use of Rosetta permits Elements 2022 to run. For Intel Macs, Adobe states that MacOS 10.15 or 11 are required. I thought that this was a minimum requirement, but in fact MacOS12 (Monterey) is unable to run Elements 2022. Most other current photo editing programs will run Elements 2022, but this is annoying for a long term Adobe user like myself.

FWIW, I've been running PSE 2022 on both Intel and M1 Macs running Monterey.

Thanks so much Dialabrain. I thin i'll bite the bullet and upgrade to Elements 2022. God knows, i've done dumber things.

I don't mind buying a new PSE every 5 years or so, but every year or two? Nonsense. Other standalone programs like Affinity just update their existing programs for free. Adobe is shameless.

They may owe it to you, but would it be worth the effort to try to collect? I'm going for Elements 2022 (Intel machine) and will let you know if it was a good or bad waste of $$$
