Monterey/Photoshop Elements
How do you get Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor 2021 to work with Monterey? Adobe says it's not supported, but it works on my MacBook pro and not on my iMac?

Try this:open a Finder window, select Go from the menu bar at the top of the screen, hold down the Option key to reveal the Library folder option in the dropdown menu, open the folder Preferences, drag the item "com.adobe.PhotoshopElements" in the trash folder and delete it.It must be done every time before you start Photoshop Elements 2021-2022 since they don't fix the bug.
welcome.
I am having a similar problem and can currently not finish my job. I am angry now. Maybe I should buy a Microsoft now?
Also, note that Adobe has posted a message that they are working with Apple to resolve this issue. Check Adobe's web site.
RoyNN - Might want to hold off on upgrade. Apparently the problem exist with both 2021 and 2022. As I understand from a post on Adobe’s site, Adobe and Apple are working on solution. Who knows when.
FWIW, I've been running PSE 2022 on both Intel and M1 Macs running Monterey.
Thanks so much Dialabrain. I thin i'll bite the bullet and upgrade to Elements 2022. God knows, i've done dumber things.
They may owe it to you, but would it be worth the effort to try to collect? I'm going for Elements 2022 (Intel machine) and will let you know if it was a good or bad waste of $$$
Here we are three months later and no, Adobe just pushes us to buy PSE 2022. Monterey isn't that different than BS. I shouldn't have to buy a new PSE every two years.
I don't mind buying a new PSE every 5 years or so, but every year or two? Nonsense. Other standalone programs like Affinity just update their existing programs for free. Adobe is shameless.
