IPAD PRO 2021. USB compatibility

simple question. I have a USB stick with many docs and spreadsheets that I would like to use on my new IPAD PRO 2021. The IPAD does not have a port for USB. Is that a way to download into the IPAD from a USB Stick? Is there a converter I can stick in?

Apple manufacture two USB-C adapters that include a USB Type-A port.

  • USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter

https://store.apple.com/uk/xc/product/MUF82ZM/A

This adapter usefully includes a USB-C pass-through connector to which you can simultaneously connect your iPad Power Adapter - in addition to a USB Type-A and HDMI media connection.

  • USB-C to USB Adapter

https://store.apple.com/uk/xc/product/MJ1M2ZM/A

This adapter is purely an USB-C to USB Type-A

Perhaps more usefully, consider one of the many third party USB-C hubs from Kingston, Anker, Hyperdrive and Satechi - although there are many others from which to choose. A Google Search for USB-C Hubs compatible with iPad will find a number of articles and recommendations.
