How can I reconnect my AirPods to find it in Find Me?

I lost one airpod and disconnected my airpods, how can I reconnect them again so I find my other lost aipod through Find My?

Once an AirPod is lost, it's too late to reconnect it.

If and when it's found, connect your AirPods by making sure they're paired to your iPhone.
