Photos app keywords caps sensitive

Hi.

I have a ton of photos keyworded but some have different spelling like: Michael or michael.

Is there a way that photos ignore caps?

I corrected the mistake, first deleting the bad keyword, and inputing the correct one, "Lake Superior". Recognized photos. Name misspelled. I accidentally misspelled a person’s name. Now, all of the recognized photos are under a misspelled name. How can I correct the spelling for this grouping of pictures? Thank you!

How do I update the name of a person in apple photos? Does anyone know how to update the spelling of a name in photos? I can't seem to edit. I've tried the Get Info and the name is not edit-able. Thanks!

No, you'll have to modifiy them manually.

However, you can do all photos with an incorrect stetp. Use a smart album to identify all the images with an incorrect keyword (eg michael), keyword - is - michael

Then select all images in the smart album, and correct the keyword.

You might want to first drag them to a temporary standard album, so you don't lose them if you incorrectly modify the keyword (eg by deleting it by mistake)
