When you back up to iTunes, does the backup include all the app data plus a pointer file to the App Store to get the apps or does it make a hard copy of the current version of the apps on your iPhone too?
That’s a relevant question because some of the apps on our iphones may have been discontinued in the App Store, in which case they can’t be downloaded again.
