Ask your mom to do the steps in the article below to make it 'your' phone.
She can do it from her phone but be warned that I think she will have to do it as part of erasing it remotely. You may instead wish to take the phone to her to have her sign out of it as indicated in the "selling" article linked in a previous post.
Can she do it from her new phone or the old phone because she took this old phone off for trusted devices but still signed in and I’m also signed in on media it’s like they r together but I can’t update or back up because it says enter password very confusing
