6 month free trial to Apple TV+ scam/error

My PlayStation 5 (PS5) says that it comes with a six month free trial but upon trying to redeem I get an error message that says I have already use the trial when I have not. Furthermore the fine print and terms and conditions says that there’s six month free trial is open to new and existing customers. I have attempted to contact Apple and spent a few hours already Dealing with the most unhelpful employee and media services named Mark. I have supplied them proof of purchase, photos of the unit including the serial number of the PS5, and all other requested documentation. Still waiting to hear from them but based on my internet searches other had the same issue and had to call in to get a special credit for the six months. My question for the community is… Has anyone successfully redeemed this six month free trial on their PlayStation 5? I have a feeling that this is an ongoing error that was never resolved… I should just forget about it and sign up but money is tight as I not only experienced Covid like everyone else, but was diagnosed with stage IV lymphoma and underwent chemo therapy that has left my nerves fried and disabled. I wanted to redeem the trial to see if it is a streaming service that I would actually use. If no one has been able to redeem the trial seems like a huge bait and switch… because I’ve already now spent about 4 hours of my time trying to redeem and still unsuccessful.
