I need to generate an app-specific password and that option is NOT there. I am going to Apple Account > Passwords & Security. Two-factor authentication is ON. Where do I find the app-specific password option? I am on an iPhone 12 iOS 14.8.1

It tells you to sign in on a web page, not on a device itself.

An Apple support document created in 2019 does not address an issue I am having now, in 2021. The documentation refers to a section called App-Specific Passwords, which I am completely unable to find in my version of iOS.
Well, I don't see that the apple support page says to use a web browser to sign in, just to sign in to my account which I can do an any device. BUT that did the trick! I see it logging in on a web browser.
