Please provide some “specific” apps that would require me to create an app specific password. I am still not sure of when or with what apps I should create app specific passwords, as I haven’t created ANY during my 12 years of using an iPhone. Thank you.
App specific passwords are normally required on 3rd party apps that use your Apple ID. For example, If you are using the Outlook mail app, and you want to add your iCloud email address to the app, that requires an App Specific password.
If you only use the App software, such as the Mail app, you don't have a need to use App Specific passwords.
