Lost MacBook no location found
I can’t find my MacBook. I went to “Find My” and it says “No Location Found”. How do I see the last place/location that my MacBook was used?
MacBook, macOS 10.14

Start here: If your Mac is lost or stolen - Apple Support
As the others have mentioned, "Find My" needed to have been enabled on this Mac BEFORE it was lost. If it has, then the first time that Mac can access the Internet is when it would show up with a location.

Backtrack your Locations:
If Find My was not set up, then do it the olde fashioned way, and backtrack your locations. If you were at a Library, then stop back in, asking the Librarian if they placed it aside.
If the Mac is running macOS Catalina or later, the Mac simply has to be alive and powered on. By default, it can communicate via Bluetooth with other Apple devices, which will securely send the Mac's location to the owner.
That said, Offline Finding doesn't allow commands to be carried out (i.e. Lock or Erase).
The MacBook would have to powered up and connected to the Internet.
Did you have Find My active? If not, you can't find it that way on or off.
