iPad not to show messages

iPad Pro 12.9 5G

iPadOS: 15.1


Setting:

  • Apple ID: iCloud: messages: is off
  • Messages: iMessage: is off


Issue / Question: What are the settings for the application Messages to prevent / not to display messages on the iPad at all ?

Messages shall be and are displayed on the iPhone only.

iPad 2, iOS 9

On your iPhone:

Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding - set to OFF
