I am no longer getting my notifications. For example, calendar options are same as before, set to alert. Do not disturb mode is turned off. When the event comes I don't get the notification, however I see it in widget space when I expand it by clicking in upper left on clock.
I resolved it by deleting
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.ncprefs.plist
and restarting the machine.

**** Matthew, unfortunately all support could offer was a system reinstall which is not an option for me at this time. This is a company laptop and with all the Q4 things to be done I absolutely can't afford doing this.

The thing is, they can be found afterwards in the widgets section, but they don't pop up. I checked the link and it didn't help.
First word was a greeting "word opposite of heaven" + O. Censorship regex doesn't work so great here I guess :)
