Hello, danielvdvlis.

Let's start off by checking the helpful steps in this article: Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support. It explains that you can "touch and hold a notification to view the notification and perform quick actions if the app offers them." Can you confirm that the app notification you are interacting with does have those options? Does this occur with all apps or only one?

Also, as with all unexpected iPhone behavior, try taking the following steps which may help with this: restart your iPhone, make sure it is up to date, close the affected app, then reopen it and make sure all apps are updated.

Please let us know more and we can look into this further with you. Take care!
