Apple watch battery swell
Purchased apple watch 3/22/21 and the face has popped loose. What I am seeing it is a known "battery swell" issue. Why isn't this covered by apple warranty? It is a known issue

If you bought a brand new watch, March 22, 2021, it includes a full one year warranty. Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and show it to them. They should without question replace the watch - UNLESS there is visible damage to the watch unrelated to the screen coming off the watch.
That is what I thought also! Visited store today, they had me call "1800myapple" and I was told there would be a charge of over $200 since I do not have applecare! I literally have the dated receipt-I though apple stood by their products-so upset with them right now!
It was bought at Walmart, I have original receipt. I called apple again snd got a more competent person who will send a box to my home for me to mail watch to apple for a replacement. Fingers crossed that it all goes smooth!
This is a receipt from an AppleStore or Apple Authorized Reseller where you bought it. And original?
Was I correct that you purchased your watch March 22, 2021? If that is correct, call them again and elevate this higher. There is some miscommunication somewhere.
I will try the store again-that was my thought too! I probably got an unqualified person on the phone
Take your receipt with you. The watch has a full one year warranty.
