i have used the migration tool to transfer everything from my imac yo my new macbook air but only wanted the two devices to sync through ickoud. what should i do

I have used the migration tool to transfer everything from my iMac to my new MacBook Air. I only wanted to sync them through iCloud. What can I do?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.5

If you don't want user data on one of the MBA's, send it to the trash can and empty it.


Sign in one both Macs with the same Apple ID and they will sync.
