Hi, I'm Daniel! I've updated my M1 MacBook Air to Monterey. All Apple applications run slow, calendar uploads events in jerks. Mail is unuseful now because it start to load smth and multicolor circle runs.Safari can't open new tabs or does it really slow.
Do you have any ideas how to fix it asap?

Second all the previous posting. My M1 MBA upgraded from Big Sur 11.6.1 to Monterey 12.01 and runs like @ woodmeister50
a tad quicker than Big Sur
How is the Empty Space situation of you machine ? Empty Space - it is suggested to keep at least 15% of the Drive Total Capacity as Empty Space for good operations of the computer and for additional updates to Monterey to download, expand and install.
I'm not having any of those issues on my M1 MBA.
Install EtreCheck and post the report. Allow Full Disk Access.
Use the Additional Text icon to paste in the report.
Follow what @dialabrain suggests as there is something in you system that is causing issues.
BTW, my M1 MacBook Air is running without any issues as well. Running maybe a tad snappier than Big Sur.
