Shared Apple account

Our daughters 7 plus is linked to my wifes Apple account. Is there a way to lock her out of trying to recover or change the account password after we change it to what we want it to be? We will be needing to lock her phone, she has severe issues and we need to be able to lock and unlock he phone when we choose, Is this possible without her changing the account password?

TIA......... HELP

This is easy.

Don’t share accounts. It’s a security nightmare and becomes frought w/ other issues as children grow up.

Create a child AppleID and an Apple family

This will open up a whole set of parental controls.

“Lost” can ONLY be activated w/ FindMy from another Apple device already signed-on w/ the same AppleID as the lost device …

… or from a web browser using the “lost” device’s AppleID and Password.

Hypothetically, your daughter could easily use her phone normally w/o knowing the AppleID password.

This would restrict manipulation of several critical “administrator-like” settings. I’m not sure if restoring from “lost” is one of them.
