Do other accounts sync? If so, you will need to contact Google to see if something is up with their systems.

GMail error It seems that Gmail thinks I have 2 accounts - one with my first name, last name @gmail and then one with my first name, period, last name @gmail. My iPhone 12 keeps trying to sync my email address and when I remove the period, it keeps putting it back in and then says everything doesn’t match. This only started about 6 months ago but it’s very annoying as I constantly get an alert that my password isn’t syncing but I have not had an issue getting my emails using the address without the period.

Gmail account not adding to iPhone 11 Pro Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help me out. I have a work Gmail that I have stored on my personal phone with only the calendar synced. it was having trouble syncing so I deleted the Gmail from my phone but when trying to re-add, it wont process. It lets me type in my email address and password however once i hit the login button it loads for a second and then just flicks back to the 'add account' page. Any help is most appreciated Thanks,
