I too am stuck in SOS Emergency mode and NONE of the restart recommendations work. Suggestions.? I have tired:

1-Press and release volume UP

2-Press and release volume down

3-Hold power button until apple logo appears (could take 20 seconds).

NOTHING.

If I try traditional power off (power button + volume button hold simultaneously) - its tries to make a 911 call
