I just updated to Mac OS Monterey and every time I want to use the space bar it select something instead of adding a space. Is there anyway I can turn off that blue selection box? and how could I fixed that problem. Because sometimes I have to press shift + space bar to add a space.

Go to your Accessibility preferences and turn off Full Keyboard Access.
