Monterey broke my Kensington USB3/HDMI port replicator Hub

Since installing Monterey - my external USB Hub stops working properly, specifically, it loses sound and stops data transfer on any connected devices such as Garmin watch, iPhone, external HDD, Webcam after about 2 hours or if I leave the Mac idle for any time above 15 mins

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports)

Intel i5

16GB Ram

Then I do not understand the rational for your OP...

file a bug report —use the same link as here: Apple Feedback hhttp://www.apple.com/feedback

and hope a point update resolves your issue for your third party device.

It still seems to me this would be a third party driver issue not an Apple issue.

Thanks, but that’s not the answer… device worked completely fine for months pre the Monterey update, and still works fine with my other MacBook Pro not yet on Monterey having tied it to check the hub was not the route cause. Searching today, I see I’m not alone, there is clearly a bug in the update that has been known about since Monterey has been in beta and has not been addressed before general release which is disappointing.

Thanks, found that information after OP hence comments in my replay. From reading it’s affecting many hubs mainly with multiple USB ports and HDMI so again unlikely to be a third party driver issue and more like a result of an issue in Monterey. FWW - No update available on Kingston website either

I’ll report as a bug on the meanwhile
