MacOS Monterey
I'm trying to do an update to Monterey but it wont let me select my SSD because it's encrypted. What do I do? I don't want to wipe it. Why can't I just enter my password?
Mac mini 2018 or later

UpGrade from what previous version ? If upgrading from macOS Sierra or later, your Mac needs 26GB of available storage to upgrade. If upgrading from an earlier release, your Mac needs up to 44GB of available storage.
SSD because it's encrypted - one needs to allow the FileVault to finish Decrypting the drive before the Monterey Installer can be run.
