Password problem

Genius Bar did a data transfer from my Time Machine backup into my new MacBook Pro.


but my password doesn’t work now to get me in.


do they use a default password?

I haven't had my data transferred by a Genius Bar yet, so I don't know what their practices are on setting default passwords. Nonetheless, you should be able to reset the password using the steps in these articles:
