Contacts Disappear

Hi! I got the iphone 13pro and there is a problem with contacts that is really frustrating me.

I add a new contact. Then I go to contacts and search for that contact that I just added and it's not there.

There are many contacts that are just missing from my contacts all together.

I did the thing where I went to icloud and deleted the contacts from my phone and then turned it back on... but that's not helping. It's really frustrating that contacts are just disappearing and then when I add them, they are not coming up on the search. One contact I added like 5 times! Help!

Hello, JulesFreedom!

From your post it sounds like you are having issues with missing contacts after updating your iPhone. We’re glad that you reached out to the Apple Support Communities and want to try and help get you pointed in the right direction.

Let’s start by considering where your contacts are saved. Do you use iCloud for your contacts or do you use another service?

Make sure contact syncing is enabled for all accounts in Settings > Contacts > Accounts.

Use other contact accounts on iPhone

Aside from that, Please open the Contacts app. Then, tap on Groups. Make sure to check all available locations to show your contacts. You can also take a look at the webmail clients for any of the accounts you have to see if the contacts are available from there.

Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Please keep us posted!
