How do I stop apps from wiggling?

I know how to delete apps, etc., but how can I stop the frequent wiggling of all my apps? If I pick up my phone and then put it down the apps wiggle. It seems to be so sensitive. It’s very annoying and i’ve checked with friends and they have the same issue.
