Siri violating hippa

Hello apple,

it was only today I noticed that Siri was reading my email when it suggested an appointment for me. Looking through my settings it seems to be reading EVERYTHING including an app I use to order prescriptions.

so now I’m going through and switching surveillance off for each app.

I realize you have a policy, aka a barely enforced promise from someone of Steve jobs’s character that says there is arbitrary discretion on how you use the data. I wonder if its collection, even inadvertently, is in violation of HIPPA though. And my medications are on your data tables.

apps should be categorized for such pitfalls before you indiscriminately turn on collection of its data..

Imagine if you had a robot that installed security cameras in an apartment building and said put them everywhere.

you did not mean for it to put the camera (let’s call this Siri cam) in a minor child’s bathroom… but yet the footage is in your data Center.

that’s how I feel about you seeing my kid’s meds. Where is the default off?
